We are currently seeking Concession Attendants to join our community at Steveston Café & Hotel in Richmond!
This is a part-time position with an opportunity to move to full-time hours during the summer.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Greeting guests, and providing timely service
- Serve food, beverages, and desserts to guests
- Accurate cash, debit, and credit handling at register
- Replenish foods at serving stations
- Inventory control, assess stock levels, prepare product orders
- Ensure cleanliness of all surfaces and equipment
- Ensure all sanitation procedures are followed relating to all local licensing regulations
Working Conditions:
- Hours and shifts may vary, must be available evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Standing, stooping and bending for long periods of time.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience working in a concession or other relevant hospitality experience, including experience with POS systems, and purchasing considered an asset
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to multi-task and be self-motivated
- Adhere to uniform policy and grooming standards; must present a neat and professional experience
