André “Joseph” Bourque and Ryan “Richard” Moreno met in elementary school and have been best friends ever since. Starting as bartenders in their late teens, they have always thrived in the culture of restaurants, hospitality, and nightclubs. The duo opened their first location together in 2009 and have been growing the Joseph Richard Group brand exponentially ever since. Current businesses include Townhall Public Houses, Oak & Thorne Neighbourhood Public House,The Henry Public House, Micky’s Irish Public House, Edith + Arthur Public House, Oceanside Public House, The Buck & Ear Bar and Grill, S+L Kitchen & Bar, The Italian Osteria & Cheesebar and the recently launched Blank Canvas Catering. Other exciting concepts are in development including a Barber Shops, a Bakery, a Test Kitchen, and the highly anticipated Sudo Asian Kitchen.
